Roula Christie wins a 2023 Gracie Award

Roula Christie adds yet another honor to her ever expanding list of radio accomplishments and awards.

The Houston native has been honored by the Alliance for Women in Media Foundation (AWMF) as a winner of the 48th Annual Gracie Awards. 

She is one of four Cumulus Media personalities honored for 2023. If memory serves, Christie already took home Gracie honors in 2019 and 2021

"I’m so very excited and honored to receive such an accolade," Christie told mikemcguff.com in 2019. "The Gracies and (AWMF) is a fantastic organization that recognizes talent and dedication. I love radio, I love my show team, I love KRBE and I love Houston."

And if that's not all, Christie was just inducted into the Texas Radio Hall of Fame Class of 2022 and launched syndicated 'Weekends with Roula' in 2020.

Per the awards site, The Gracies recognize outstanding programming and individual achievement created by women, for women, and about women in all facets of media in news and entertainment. 

The local and student winners of the 48th Annual Gracie Awards will be celebrated on June 20, 2023 at a luncheon held at Cipriani, New York. 

National media award winners have included: Glenn Close, Claire Danes, Selena Gomez, Mariska Hargitay, Angie Harmon, Anjelica Huston, Mindy Kaling, Gayle King, Lisa Kudrow, Giada de Laurentiis, Robin Meade, Soledad O’Brien, Amy Poehler, Giuliana & Bill Rancic, Robin Roberts, The Satellite Sisters, Martha Stewart, Wanda Sykes, Marisa Tomei, Barbara Walters and Betty White.
