Ricardo Lewis is leaving his multimedia journalist (MMJ)/reporter position at CBS Austin KEYE for Sinclair Broadcast Group sister-station KATU New 2 Portland, Oregon.
"After nearly two years in Austin, my time here is coming to an end," Lewis tweeted. "April 21 will be my last day at CBS Austin. On May 1 I’ll start my next chapter at KATU News as a GA Reporter in Portland, OR. Never thought I’d be calling the PNW home but I’m really excited for it!"
Lewis joined CBS Austin in June 2021.
The Iowa State University grad previously worked as an MMJ for WSAV News 3 in Savannah, Georgia and KSFY Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
A Des Moines native, Lewis got his TV start with hometown station KCWI 23 an associate producer.
