Keith Monahan, who left CW39 Houston KIAH back in 2011 as NewsFix started, experienced a scary situation on KARK 4 Little Rock, Arkansas the other night.
UPDATE
Keith Monahan to retire from KARK 4 Little Rock
Hi everyone-I am doing well. Yesterday I had an episode on the air. It was a bit scary, so I went to the ER. Doctors discovered I had a minor stroke. My main symptom was difficulty with speech. Full recovery is expected. Thank you so much for all your thoughts and prayers! #arwx

The KARK chief meteorologist joined the station in October 2011.
"My family and I will miss Houston but take with us great memories of all the the Bayou City had to offer (well except for unwanted visitors from the Gulf like Allison and Ike)," Monahan told mikemcguff.com back in 2011.
The United States Air Force Academy grad worked for KIAH for a decade. Chief Keith, as he is known, previously worked for:
- KDLT Sioux Falls, South Dakota
- WOOD Grand Rapids, Michigan
- KGWN Cheyenne, Wyoming
