CW39 Houston KIAH is celebrating WeatheRate's certification of having the most accurate weather forecast in Houston two years in a row.

WeatheRate says it is, "the only independent television weather forecast verification company in the United States; perhaps even the world."
The company uses patented WeatherTracker II software to compare local TV weather forecasts with observed conditions to reveal which station is the most accurate.
Meteorologist Bruce Fixman and WeatheRate founder developed the service because he was, "tired of every TV station claiming to be the most accurate, pinpoint or simply the best in town."
In the past, Telemundo Houston KTMD has been the Houston television station to be certified by WeatheRate.
