Karen Alvarez has joined abc13 KTRK Houston, and from what I understand, as a freelance reporter.
Alvarez comes from KHSL-TV & KNVN Action News Now CBS 12 & NBC 24 Chico/Redding, CA where she had been since 2019.
The Thousand Oaks, California (part of the Greater Los Angeles area) native got her TV reporting start with News Channel Nebraska.
A graduate of Loyola Marymount University, Alvarez interned for NBCLA KNBC Los Angeles.
