SkyEye 13, the helicopter of abc13 KTRK Houston, had a laser pointed at it last week during the morning newscast.
SkyEye reporter Tammy Rose was reporting in southeast Houston around 6:07am on September 29, 2022 when the green laser appeared for around 10 minutes.
"Leeland and Sidney. It's illegal to laser a helicopter," Rose said during the report. "We're calling police."
A man was arrested near Hobby Airport in 2021 for shining a laser at aircrafts.
