Here is part of what Board posted on Facebook:
"I’m thrilled to share I am joining the KING 5 team in Seattle as a reporter in just a few weeks. I could not be more excited to be a part of such an impactful, creative, and innovative team in a city that means so much to me! I was born in Seattle and have family all around the city and state! So this is a special move for me.
Austin, I am going to miss you tremendously. This city is full of magic and I am so thankful I had the chance to be a part of it. Texas will always have a special place in my heart! I am also very grateful to have been a part of the KVUE team. I was able to grow so much as a journalist and human because I was surrounded by encouraging, supportive, and positive humans. Forever grateful for my time here."
