Camp, who was announced first, came from 7 News WKBW where she was a co-host of "AM Buffalo." Hailing from Australia, Camp performed in school plays with the late actor Heath Ledger according to her bio. Professionally, Camp as acting credits in HBO's "True Blood" among other projects.
The above video is of Camp interviewing former CW39 KIAH morning meteorologist Maria Sotolongo. That was a surprise find.
Ramirez moves from behind the camera where he has been an EMMY award-winning KPRC 2 photojournalist. Fun fact, he previously served as a city councilmember in Goddard, Kansas.
Houston Life viewers have been asking me about the whereabouts of Joe Sam. While is bio is still online and his socials mention "HL", his photo is no longer on the bios section for the show. A reader also told me he is no longer on the intro to the show.
A KPRC representative told me Sam is no longer with "Houston Life."
Sam joined the show in August 2020 when it moved to 3pm from 1pm.
