A’Darius McCormick joins KAVU-TV 25 News Now as multi-skilled journalist.
“A’Darius is coming into his first newsroom job with all the skills needed,” said 25 News Now news director James Muñoz. “We are glad he selected us as his employer of choice.”
A’Darius graduated with a Bachelor of Science and Arts degree from the University of Southern Mississippi. He considers fashion content one of his hobbies and he likes writing short stories and poetry. He’d even like to write a book one day.
“I am more than excited to join an amazing newsroom and share everything I know with 25 News Now. I do have things to learn, but Victoria is the perfect place for me to grow. I can't wait to start my career in the beautiful state of Texas,” McCormick said.
About KAVU-TV: 25 News Now is the flagship station to five low-power stations in Victoria, Texas. All stations are under one studio along North Navarro Street west of downtown Victoria. KAVU-TV was founded on December 7, 1981, and took to the airwaves in the Crossroads on July 21, 1982.
