Steven Sarabia is joining Arizona's Family powered by KTVK 3TV and KPHO CBS 5 News KTVK 3TV - KPHO CBS 5 News Phoenix from FOX 7 Austin KTBC where he is a reporter.
Here is what Sarabia posted on Facebook:
"LIFE UPDATE: I have accepted A Weather Anchor and News Reporter position for Arizona Family in Phoenix. I’ll be doing a mix of weather, hard news, and hosting fun segments for the morning newscasts and weekend morning shows.
I’ve really enjoyed my time with FOX 7 Austin as well as being back in the area I grew up in. It was a very difficult decision to make as Austin and the community holds a special place in my heart. I will miss this area and Texas.
Thank you for supporting me these past 4 years!! This isn’t goodbye (I still have friends and family in the area that I plan to visit). My last day at FOX 7 is mid June."
Sarabia joined FOX 7 Austin in 2018 from KRGV 5 Rio Grande Valley where he was a reporter/MMJ and weekend weather forecaster.
He started his career inn Grand Island, Nebraska (I cannot find which station).
The Georgetown, Texas native graduated from Sam Houston State University.
