Joe Galli announced he is leaving his reporter role for New 4 San Antonio WOAI and FOX 29 KABB.
Here is part of Galli's goodbye social media post:
"I will miss working with incredible professionals at News 4/FOX San Antonio every day.
There are plenty of things I won’t miss, but this is not the time or the place for that.
This will be my last week coving local news. I’ll see you every Tuesday at 6:05pm EST for NWA Powerrr and Saturdays at noon for NWA USA!"
In addition to his San Antonio TV reporting, as he teased, Galli is also a commentator for the National Wrestling Alliance which is owned by Smashing Pumpkins singer Billy Corgan (he is pictured in Galli's post).
That is super cool that Galli gets to call Corgan boss. As a Pumpkins fan, I have to note that my wife caught Corgan's guitar pick at the re-united band's 2018 Houston Toyota Center show!
Galli joined News 4 WOAI / Fox 29 KABB in March 2019.
He previously worked as a:
- Reporter for KESQ News Channel 3 and CBS Local 2 KUNA Palm Springs, California.
- Reporter / Fill-in Anchor BRC News13 Lehighton, PA
- Multi Media Journalist - Live Reporter WNWO 24 Toledo, Ohio
The California State University, Northridge grad interned with CBS News and got his start in the broadcast biz with the university owned 88.5 KCSN as a field reporter.
