Chris Rogers is joining 10 Tampa Bay WTSP from morning anchoring at KCEN 6 Waco/Temple/Killeen.
"The last 6 years at @6NewsCTX have been more rewarding than I ever could have imagined," Rogers tweeted on his last day in Central Texas which was April 15, 2022.
The award winning journalist started with KCEN in July 2016, first as a weekend anchor/reporter and then in July 2018 as a morning news anchor for "Texas Today."
The Syracuse, New York native got his start in the broadcast news biz at Fox Abilene KXVA.
He received both a bachelor's and master's degree from The Sacred Heart University in Connecticut and interned with WCNY Liverpool, NY.
Also leaving KCENNews this month is Executive Producer Chelsea Durcholz. No word on where Durcholz is headed to next.
