Marlene Guzman is leaving Univision Houston KXLN for the Univision network where she will be a national correspondent.

"Goodbye anchor desk until we meet again!," Guzman posted on Facebook. "This Houston girl will soon be heading to South Texas to join the Univision National News team as the next correspondent."
Guzman, a five-time EMMY award winner, has been a weekend anchor/reporter with Univision Houston for nearly five years. She started with the station as a news producer.
Before KXLN, Guzman worked as an anchor/producer for Univision 27 KLDO and FOX 39 KXOF Laredo.
The University of Houston grad started in TV as first a regional news correspondent and then later a national news correspondent for Azteca US based in Houston.
She got her start in broadcasting at Mega 101 KLOL as an on-air personality.
