Chelsea Torres has joined News 4 San Antonio WOAI as an multi-media journalist (MMJ).
"New year. New job. Same SA girl I’m back in news and telling stories in my hometown," Torres tweeted.
Things have come full circle for the San Antonio native who is back in the Alamo City at WOAI where she started her TV news career as a production assistant right after graduating from Texas State University.
More recently, Torres has spent the last five years in Corpus Christi. She was first an anchor/reporter for KRIS 6, followed by a Public Information Officer (PIO) for the city of Corpus Christi.
In between her production assistant time at WOAI and anchoring for KRIS, Torres worked as a San Antonio Scorpions FC reporter and DJ for KKYX San Antonio.
New year. New job. Same SA girl ❤️
