CBS Austin KEYE viewers probably wondered who the guy doing weather was this weekend, turns out it was News 4 San Antonio WOAI chief meteorologist Chris Suchan!
Both KEYE and WOAI are owned by the Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc. and are clearly wired to help each other out.
"Yep, I made an appearance in Austin yesterday helping our sister station CBS Austin," Suchan posted on Facebook. "Our two stations and weather teams are tight, ready to step in when called upon. They got you covered."

Meanwhile, we're working on getting up to full staff here at CBS Austin once Meteorologist Avery Tomasco returns from paternity leave and we welcome a new meteorologist to the team."
