Vladimir Flores promoted to Telemundo 60 San Antonio weekend anchor

Vladimir Flores will now be the weekend anchor for Noticias 60 Telemundo KVDA San Antonio.

In addition to his current role as a reporter, Flores will take the duties of anchoring Saturday and Sunday 5pm and 10pm newscasts. 

“Vladimir is a media professional and a great journalist who will continue to help us inform and serve our community with local and relevant news to our viewers in San Antonio,” said Delines Alonso, Vice-President of News for Telemundo60. 

Vladimir graduated from The University of Texas in Arlington with a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Spanish. 

He is an eight-time Emmy Lone Star award winner.

Flores will start anchoring the weekends shows on January 8.


Telemundo 60's 'Enfoque San Antonio' extends weekly

Starting this Sunday, January 09, Telemundo 60/KVDA will extend its public affairs show “Enfoque San Antonio” to a weekly format.

The program puts emphasis on issues affecting the Hispanic community in San Antonio and its surrounding areas, including politics, immigration, education, culture, health, and economy. The program is hosted by weekly 10 p. m. News Anchor, Santiago Gallego and it will be aired every Sunday at 7 a. m.

“Extending 'Enfoque San Antonio' to a weekly edition is a true statement of our commitment to keep our community informed on the topics and issues that are relevant to them,” said Delines Alonso, VP of News for Telemundo 60. 

“Enfoque San Antonio” features analysis, interviews with community leaders, and an in-depth look at the most pressing issues affecting the Hispanic community in San Antonio today.
