Erin Moran brings lots of meteorological experience to the CBS 11 KTVT Dallas - Fort Worth weather department, but even this was a new one for the recent mom.
"Something I truly never thought I’d do: Broadcast from home while holding my five month old baby," Moran posted to Facebook. "Going back to work in the middle of a covid variant surge has proven to be difficult on a number of different levels, but I’m glad work has given me this flexibility. And Elena is just so cute."
North Texas TV viewers got a chance to catch the event Friday evening during the KTVT 6pm newscast as little Elena made her live TV debut.
“Look at that now,” KTVT anchor Doug Dunbar said. “Nothing matters because baby Elena is here off the top at six to tell you what the weekend is going to look like.”
Elena was born back in August to Moran and husband, WFAA 8 sports anchor/reporter Mike Leslie. Does this mean Elena could be on channel 8 one day?
"I have a new found appreciation for all the parents who have been trying to navigate the last 2+ years of work/school from home with kids," Moran also tweeted.
