Chancellor Johnson announced he has joined the KPRC 2 sports department from NBC26 WGBA Green Bay, Wisconsin where he was a sports reporter since October 2019.
"New Year, new gig," Johnson tweeted. "Thrilled to head back to the H to join the @KPRC2 sports team. Houston, I’m home!"
The Pearland Dawson High School and the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communications at Arizona State grad interned at FOX 26 KRIV during the summer of his ASU freshman year through the Emma Bowen Foundation.
In 2018, Johnson joined the Sports Journalism Institute (SJI) and interned with ESPN.
While at ASU, Johnson anchored the weekly student sports show "Cronkite Sports Live."
