Mackailyn Johnson is leaving KSAN San Angelo where she was a weekend anchor/MMJ to join KTHV THV11 Little Rock, Arkansas.
Here is what Johnson posted on social media:
"My last day has come and gone at KSAN in San Angelo.
I'm so excited to announce I have accepted the Morning Reporter & Weekend Morning Anchor position at THV11 in Little Rock, Arkansas!
My first day will be January 12th.
I am beyond blessed for this opportunity and can't wait to grow and learn from the amazing THV11 team!!"
Johnson came to the Concho Valley in April 2021 from KTEN Sherman/Denison where she was a weekend anchor, reporter and producer.
The Sam Houston State University grad is originally from Port Arthur but was raised in The Woodlands.
