The Texas Radio Hall of Fame (TRHOF) will partner with PickleJar, the new interactive, social payment app, to bring the excitement and pageantry of the Hall of Fame’s annual induction ceremony to audiences across the country and around the world live from Kilgore’s Texas Museum of Broadcasting and Communications on November 6, 2021.
The event, which begins at noon on Saturday, November 6th from the Texas Museum of Broadcasting and Communications in Kilgore, Texas, will feature the induction of twenty new broadcast professionals in a two-hour presentation combining video and live acceptance speeches by those being honored.
While the ticketed, onsite event is sold out, viewers can experience the program exclusively and in real time through the PickleJar+ Channel available on Amazon Fire, AppleTV, ROKU, and Google Play. Audience viewers can also donate to the TRHOF through the PickleJar IOS app.
TRHOF Executive Director Doug Harris says the alliance with Pickle Jar will bring the Hall of Fame’s mission and message to more people in more places than ever before. “When we first learned of Pickle Jar’s revolutionary way of connecting fans and bands”, says Harris, “we were intrigued by its application to our needs.
