Rilwan Balogun is joining KPRC 2 as a reporter from FOX 8 WVUE New Orleans.
"When friends asked, 'what is it like to live in New Orleans,' I always say the city is indescribable — it’s a feeling, it’s the people, it’s the character of the metro area, all of which I’ll miss being a part of but I’ll be back," Balogun posted on Facebook.

The University of Tennessee-Knoxville grad interned for WBIR 10 Knoxville and NBC's Today Show. While in school, Balogun was an anchor/producer for the Volunteer Channel.
Balogun is a member of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity and the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ).
