Addison Green announced he is leaving KHOU 11 to become a weekday meteorologist for News 12 New York.
"It’s sad to say “Goodbye Houston” but my last day w/ @KHOU is this TUE," Green tweeted. "It’s been a wonderful 2 years here! I’ve accepted a job w/ @News12 as one of the weekday meteorologists. I start on 12/15. Me & @KHOULauren debut Sun AM show in 1/2020, so it’s fitting we worked 1 last time."
"Going to miss this guy," Talarico tweeted. "Wishing @addisongreenwx all the luck in the world on his new adventure in NY! He’s a great colleague and even better friend."
Speaking of the Northeastern United States, recently Green got engaged in Connecticut to his girlfriend Christina.
Green joined KHOU in December 2019.
Before channel 11 Houston, Green worked for Verizon FiOS1 News New York and Northern New Jersey.
