John C. (JC) Perez has been promoted from Telemundo Houston KTMD's Director of Marketing to the station's Vice President of Marketing.
This follows the new responsibilities of KTMD president/general manager Tony Canales and Vice President of Sales Patricia Buchanan expanding their roles to also lead newly NBCUniversal acquired KASA 2 Telemundo Nuevo México in Albuquerque.
Along with his Houston promotion, I hear Perez will also have the added responsibilities of helping launch Telemundo New Mexico.
Perez, who is also a board member for the Lone Star EMMY Awards, is celebrating nine years at KTMD during this National Hispanic Heritage Month.
The University of Houston and Elsik High School grad previously was the Houston Executive Director of Lemonade Day.
Prior to that, Perez owned his own marketing firm and served as a regional general manager for Radio Unica.
