Sarah Alegre has been promoted to morning anchor for KETK Today and Fox 51 Good Day KFXK Tyler and Longview in East Texas.
"I have a very special announcement," Alegre tweeted. "I will be joining our KETK Today and Fox 51 Good Day team as the new morning anchor! So excited to wake up with you East Texas! Looking forward to working with these wonderful people!"
Alegre joined the Nexstar Media Group stations in July 2020 as a morning reporter.
She is a graduate of the Annenberg School of Communication and Journalism at the University of Southern California.
While in school, Alegre worked as a Multimedia Journalist (MMJ) for the USC TV/radio broadcasts and wrote for the Neon online magazine.
