Gabriela Gutiérrez joins Telemundo 40 Rio Grande Valley KTLM

Telemundo 40 Rio Grande Valley / KTLM announced  that Gabriela Gutiérrez joins the station as Weather Anchor for Noticias Telemundo 40, Fin de Semana. 

Gutierrez will join News Anchor Antonio Rodriguez and Sports Anchor Hector Severin Saturday and Sunday at 5 PM and 10 PM beginning May 24.

“We are extremely proud to welcome Gabriela to our team. Her detailed forecasts will greatly benefit viewers in the Rio Grande Valley,” said Iris Rodriguez, News Director of Noticias Telemundo 40. “Noticias Telemundo 40 has been recognized by WeatheRate, as the local Spanish newscast with the most accurate weather forecast for two consecutive years, and we know that Gabriela will help us to solidify our efforts of providing the most precise information to our viewers.”

Gutierrez comes to Telemundo 40 with extensive experience, having previously worked as a Weather Anchor for Noticias 48 Univision, where she also was a health reporter. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley in Edinburg, Texas.
