Mike Rush has left KVUE Austin and his new morning anchor role. The longtime anchor confirmed it on Twitter.

In July 2020, I blogged how Rush swapped his evening anchor role with morning anchor Bryan Mays.
Before KVUE, Rush worked as an anchor for KSDK NewsChannel 5 St. Louis, Missouri for six years.
Prior to KSDK, Rush was:
- Weekend Anchor WPMI Mobile, AL
- General Assignment Reporter WGNO New Orleans, LA
- Weekend Anchor KPLC Lake Charles, LA
Rush, is a native of Houston and was a Bellaire High School cheerleader.
While in school, the University of Houston grad interned with FOX 26 KRIV.
