We talk about how I became the Alzheimer's Association's Ambassador for Texas' 7th Congressional District after my mother's battle with the disease. I was supposed to meet with representative Lizzie Fletcher in Washington DC, but the pandemic stopped that. Instead, the congresswoman graciously met with us over the telephone. Rep. Fletcher has always been supportive of our Alzheimer's legislative asks.
