Former Texas TV photographer German Cortez has died according to posts on social media.
His friends have set up a gofundme for his funeral expenses. The gofundme explains the circumstances of his death.
According to social media, Cortez was currently working for an oil company.
He previously worked as a photographer for Telemundo Houston KTMD, KEYE Austin, Lamar University athletics and KFDM 6 and FOX 4 Beaumont.
He was a graduate of Lamar University.
