Erica Rico has posted photos of her new baby girl on Facebook.
Here is what she wrote:
Thank y’all so much for all your messages! I’ve missed y’all so much and will be back on 93Q very soon. Me and husband Mark have been preoccupied with our new little princess. Just enjoying every minute, every late night feeding, the smiles, the baby noises, everything. Y’all are the most supportive, amazing group of people. Thank you. See y’all soon!
Country Aircheck reports Erica Rico and Texas Department of Public Safety Trooper Mark Contreras were married last February. Their daughter's name is Elena.
So now that she has been off the air for a period, Houston radio listeners want to know where she is!
The station has confirmed to me that Rico is on maternity leave. I also heard the station has started to note that on air. (SEE Top Baby Names for 2018).
Just last night as I was getting ready to start writing this post, Rico posted an image of her with a baby bump alongside her new man "Trooper Mark."
Some of her fans didn't realize she was pregnant. That's radio for you.
