The Stuttering Association for the Young is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that believes every voice matters, and offers: Camp SAY, a summer camp for young people who stutter, Confident Voices after-school & weekend programs, and Speech Therapy. About Camp SAY
Camp SAY is a 2-week, American Camp Association (ACA) accredited summer camp for young people who stutter (ages 8-18) and their young family members and friends. This year's camp dates are August 1st - 15th. Camp takes place on a 500+ acre facility in North Carolina. Kids from across the US, and beyond, attend Camp SAY. You can learn more about camp at: www.CampSAY.org.
Tragically, without programs like Camp SAY, many kids who stutter suffer in silence. These kids literally silence themselves to avoid ridicule. Kids who stutter can feel isolated and alone. Camp SAY helps them build strong friendships with other kids who stutter and helps them discover their own unique voices.
