KTRK abc13 anchor Mayra Moreno said yes to her longtime boyfriend when he dropped to one knee in 2016. Joe Chapa, a Houston Realtor, was then Mayra Moreno's fiancé and soon to be husband.

According to her Facebook post, her co-workers knew it was coming.
Moreno and Chapa, were scheduled to be married in April of 2020, but due to the pandemic, it is unclear if the destination wedding in Arecibo, Puerto Rico happened then.
However, on social media, the Houston TV anchor lists that she is "happily married" in her Instagram bio.
San Antonio TV news viewers might recognize Chapa from his days working for Alamo City television stations. According to his LinkedIn and Instagram, Chapa was a TV news helicopter photographer for KENS 5 and KSAT 12.
Some websites out there claim that Moreno is married to her abc13 co-anchor, Chauncy Glover, but that falls under the fake news category. I guess since they co-anchor the newscasts together, that could make them a work husband and wife?
