KHOU 11 sports director Bob Allen faces radiation treatment and stem cell transplant in cancer fight

Bob Allen has good news in an early September cancer battle update. In the coming months the KHOU 11 sports director will have radiation treatment and a stem cell transplant.

Allen publicly announced his diagnoses in June. KHOU has hired Pablo Alsina in August to help fill Allen's void in its sports department.
