Former KHOU 11 anchor Lisa Foronda has jumped to a new job and company. She is now the Manager of Internal Communications for the Memorial Hermann Health System. Since leaving KHOU in 2006, Foronda has worked at CenterPoint Energy - first as a Community Relations Supervisor and then as Manager of Change Management.

Houston Airport System Public Information Officer Darian Ward is now Press Secretary for Houston Mayor Annise Parker. Previously she was an anchor and reporter at Fox 26 KRIV from June 1993 – September 2002. Former Mayor Parker spokesperson Jessica Michan is now External Relations Manager at Direct Energy.

SagaCity Media President Nicole Vogel announced a significant expansion of the managerial team at Houstonia magazine, the highest-selling monthly publication in America’s fourth largest city. Diane Caplan, formerly the eCommerce and marketing director for Houston’s Momentum Motors, has been named publisher of the magazine. In addition, P’nina Topham, most recently the director of marketing and strategic events at the Houston Chronicle, will become Houstonia’s associate publisher.

KIAH 39 NewsFix producer Lana McCarley moves over to Fox 26 KRIV as a producer.

KIII-TV has hired Mary Nell Sanchez as assistant news director. Currently she is the managing editor of the Laredo Morning Times.

Jenni Lee joins Round Rock Police as public information officer
Jenni Lee joined the Round Rock Police Department as its new Public Information Officer. Prior to joining RRPD, Lee worked as a reporter and anchor for FOX 7 News in Austin. She was also the main anchor at KBTX-TV in Bryan College Station.

KCEN news director Jim Holland is retiring.

Jan Stratton Signs Off KSWO After 34 Years
Jan Stratton said goodbye to KSWO after 34 years at the Lawton-Wichita Falls ABC affiliate.
