Fox 4 KDFW scoops Jennifer Myers from KVIA

Jennifer Myers joins KDFW FOX4 as the station’s weekend meteorologist, announced Robin Whitmeyer, the station’s Vice President and News Director. Jennifer joins the weather team on Tuesday, July 24th and will be the meteorologist for “Good Day” on Saturday and Sunday mornings.

In making the announcement, Whitmeyer stated “Jennifer's weather knowledge, combined with a mix of television and online experience, make her a great addition to the FOX4 news team.”

Most recently, Myers served as meteorologist/reporter/fill-in anchor/web producer for KVIA-TV in El Paso, TX for two years. She began her career as meteorologist for “OU Nightly,” the student newscast for her alma mater, the University of Oklahoma.

Added Myers, “I'm very excited about joining the FOX4 team. Severe weather has always been my passion, so being in a place where I can do what I love is really something I'm looking forward to."

A graduate of the University of Oklahoma, Myers holds a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology with minors in Journalism, Mass Communication and Mathematics.
