PIC: Would you use a toilet in the middle of the street?

I've been getting questions about the above photo taken in Delft and I can certainly flush out the reasons why. Yeah, it is a toilet in the middle of a canal lined street. Don't worry though, this is just Dutch art. "Voor de kunst" translates to "for art."

But speaking of public urination...I did see a kiosk in the middle of an Amsterdam street where men could relieve themselves. No shy bladders allowed. I'm not joking. Men could walk up to it, unzip and let her him rip. I almost held a protest to fight for the right for women to urinate publicly.

Now I don't want you to get the wrong impression about Delft from my strange photo. It is a charming place with canals and old churches (very old churches READ MORE ABOUT Nieuwe Kerk and Oude Kerk). The city also had an HandM store while Houston does not (ladies I know that is a sore subject).  Here are more photos that won't inspire you to sit down and read a magazine.
