I've noticed that Steve Simon has not been sitting behind the anchor desk much lately on Houston's 39 News KIAH? Don't worry, he is still on the newscast as a reporter though. What gives?
In fact the main news anchor (and longtime weekend anchor) of KIAH is now listed as a reporter on his station bio. Notice he used to work at WSVN Miami which was recently a hot topic on this blog for its 1:34 newscast open.
According to a 2002 article by Ken Hoffman in the Houston Chronicle, Simon is dating/married to KPRC reporter (and former weekend anchor) Lisa Baldwin.
