Houston's new downtown park, Discovery Green, was packed Sunday for its big debut. I told one of the park attendants that I felt like a tourist in my own city. Really. Walking around the park makes it seem like you are in another city.
Discovery Green is pretty impressive. Or at least it was on Sunday when loads of people and activities filled the park. Hopefully it won't turn back into a Houston no man's land like it was before except when stuff was going on at Toyota Center or Minute Maid Park.
