Roy Oswalt To The Mets?? No Way!

The rumor mill is flying and with the Astros and Reds mopping up the cellar in the NL Central, moves for both teams are likely. In one scenario, the Mets would be VERY interested in giving up two of their young guns for Roy O. I know Oswalt has a no trade clause and he's in the first year of his new contract, but who knows what Drayton McLane/Tim Purpura might try to pull. All I know is that if they're even entertaining the thought of trading the BEST pitcher in the NL to the Mets, fans will show up just to throw batteries at those two. Hey, I'll supply the D-cells.

Ken Griffey Jr. could be headed to the Cubs. He's unhappy in "The Natty"...who wouldn't be unhappy in Cincinnati? The trade still won't help the lovable losers break the curse of the goat. I will always root against the Cubs, just like I enjoy watching Phil Mickelson collapse.

How awesome has the Woody Williams/Jason Jennings for Roger Clemens/Andy Pettitte swap been? No drop-off whatsoever...
