abc13.com blog round up

Let's see what's going on over at some of the Houston Blogs on abc13.com:

The Consumer Blog chronicles how a Jeff Ehling investigation forced changes at the Harris County Toll Road Authority. Essentially drivers like you might have been overcharged:
The Harris County Toll Road Authority is evaluating computer software and hardware used to count vehicles and axles in EZ TAG lanes because there’s an extremely slight risk patrons could be charged too much or too little.
Miya Shay writes on The Political Blog how some PR people can really ruin a reporter's day:
The story began as a press release from the Thorne Group, a Public Relations firm hired by the red light camera company. The news release was sent at 6:02 p.m. on Monday night, a bizarre time to send a "positive" news release for any P.R. firm. Then, on Tuesday morning, no one from the firm answered the phone! I mean, if you are going to put out a news release with phone numbers on them and you want the media to call, you might want to actually answer the phone.
And finally, Tim Heller uses The Weather Blog to fill us in how the moon will be a deeper shade of red this Saturday:
It’s not unusual for a full moon to appear red when it rises. But this Saturday when the moon slides above the horizon it will appear a deeper shade of red. The moon will be in the middle of an eclipse when it rises at 6:21 pm on March 3. The sun, Earth and moon will all be aligned with the moon in the shadow of the Earth.
