FOX 26 KRIV gets new graphics

Roger Ailes who started Fox News is now over the FOX station group and the public can clearly see that now in Houston. In a move that has been happening with all of Fox's 35 owned and operated stations, Houston's Fox 26 KRIV is getting a new graphical news look more akin to the Fox News Channel.

When I was in Manhattan last April, Fox 5 WNYW had just switched over. The station's graphics looked just like Fox News complete with the same slogans and voice overs.

Back to Houston, The Insite has some screen grabs on the new look. Even from these stills, you can tell how the Fox 26 logo spins like the Fox News one.

KHOU beat them to the punch this week introducing a new look for the station. I've seen the station's live vans driving around with the new graphics too. When I went to the Astros game last Thursday, all of Channel 11's in house Minute Maid Park content also carried the new look.
