Don't expect to get holidays off when you work in TV my friends. But don't feel too sorry for me. I achieved oh so much today.
For one, I wrote the rough draft of our next 30 minute special to air Sunday, June 11th at 10:35 pm. It's called Jeff on the Job 2 at this point. More fun consumer news in a nice, fast paced package with a flashy bow on top. I think you'll like it.
Let me fine tune the show before I go into too much detail here.
The wife and I hit The Heights on Sunday. It's house hunting time. I felt pretty low after driving around looking at tiny streets with big $800,000 homes on them next to tiny old houses. I'm not sure we could afford either when you consider the taxes!
We did get to eat at Onion Creek though. A guy in a car that looked like a purple dragon drove by. I thought they must have put some special herbs in my salad, but he drove by again so it must have been real. Only in The Heights (or Montrose).
Anyone know anything about Timbergrove or Lazy Brook? These are two hidden neighborhoods that time forgot, but the hungry developers have their eyes on. You can just feel it.
