It's no secret that I am fascinated with YouTube. I know that I would have been submitting my own TV network's worth of video if it had been around when I was a teenager. My friends and I were constantly shooting videos, we just didn't have a digital platform to distribute it like today's kids. :(
Classic videos were shot, like the time I got into an industrial dryer at Martin Hall at Baylor University. Or the many lame songs I wrote on my neighbor's acoustic guitar. Then there are the ones I don't remember that could come back to haunt me.
Maybe it was a good thing YouTube wasn't around. That could have been the end of my future political aspirations (if I had any).
That leads me to see what my fellow Bears are up to. I sometimes type in "Baylor" to see what comes up.
Looks like they are dancing. A lot. That would have been outlawed prior to 1996. I'm not joking. I was there for the first official dance. It got the university tons of international media coverage. The number of satellite trucks rivaled the time President Bush held his economic summit there.
Now on to our feature:
Baylor Sweet Dreams
Baylor Sweet Dreams show a group of girls all over the campus giving the Soul Train dancers a run for their money. They spent time on this one.
Baylor Cool Cats (Remix)
This one is a little more hard core, a little less family friendly.
All I Have To Give
This Backstreet Boys parody gives us drama, singing and a little dancing with a timeless story line. A lot of work went into this.
Why so much performing?
A) It is for a class project (doubtful)
B) They are in Waco, what else do you do?
But forget the dancing. Most would probably agree this is the best Baylor video on YouTube.
