I hadn't gotten around to posting about the feud brewing between Axl Rose and Velvet Revolver. It all revolves around the lawsuits surrounding all of the former gunners. But the oddest part relates to what Axl said about Slash's visit (read more here).
And like the article said, with both bands releasing new albums, it can't be bad for business. Look at the press the bands are getting.
Things started heating up with a press release from Guns N' Roses.
Then here came Scott Weiland's expletive-filled response.
Next came Duff McKagan's (no) comments.
Now other bands are taking sides that have nothing to do with this (free publicity).
The rock pundits are now speaking out on the overall picture.
I will say this, the rock bands know how to build buzz better than most of today's new bands. The show doesn't end when the album ends or the arena lights come on. Someone needs to watch and take notes. Now the rest of us can sit back and watch how the new GNR and VR albums do on Billboard.

In the meantime, watch this great live performance of Chinese Democracy from a few years ago. NSFW!!!!
