Kennedi Walker joined Law&Crime in January 2025 as a daily reporter for the network’s primary news channel after leaving CBS News Texas KTVT Dallas - Forth Worth last summer.
Walker spent three years as a reporter at CBS 11 and was named Best Multimedia Journalist by the Texas Association of Broadcasters in 2024 for her work in North Texas. She also contributed to CBS national news.
Before her time in Texas, Walker reported and anchored for WVLA NBC Local 33 Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Walker’s journalism career began at Louisiana State University, where she graduated from the Manship School of Mass Communication. As the first African-American News Director for the university's KLSU 91.1FM on recorded, she hosted "The Kennedi Show" and won multiple awards for her storytelling.
She also interned at Good Morning America, where she made history as the first intern to host the Facebook live show "GMA Wake Up Call." She also conducted a one-on-one interview with Robin Roberts and worked as an associate producer for the anchor's Rock’n Robin Productions.
