    1. WHY???Why couldn't they just leave The Point,Rock 101 KLOL,KARTS and The Arrow and ZROCK alone? Now you and the other hipsters get to experience what WE had to go through when permanently lost those stations.

I wouldn't mind this station going back to being Hot Hits if you would make the owners FINALLY remove that Spanish crap off of KLOL and make it a real hard rock/metal station.

Or get the Beat off of 93.7 and make it much better Classic Rock station then what the Eagle is currently.Over half of the songs and bands they used play when The Arrow first started out isn't even being played anymore.Half of it went to their HD2 Oldies station they have.

Or,make it into a much better Classical station than that dead in the water HD2 Classical station that keeps going off the air and plays too much Christian and Catholic music all the time.

At least now we kinda sorta have something the sounds like an 80s/90s station that Point used to have, before it got flipped to the crap ZONE.Too bad it sounds mostly like a copy of the Eagle.

    2. Rock sucks major balls... I do agree though this new change sucks.I'm glad they got rid of the oldies though, and the eagle needs to go.

  2. Horrible move! They should've added this on lower rated Mix, instead of killing Hot!

  10. Some of the people out there are just being rude as hell on Facebook about the change. They don't realize that being ugly, rude trolls and jerks isn't going to bring a radio station back.I hope they better understand how a lot of others feel now when they turned KLOL into that Mega Crap station.Or turned The Arrow into that rap crap station. And whatever the hell KARTS is currently.

Or 106.9 in the 90's into a Christian Conservative hellhole station, before it sounded more and more like The Buzz's sister double.

Besides,Hot Hits hasn't sounded that great since the first few years when it started. It sounded more like a copy of KRBE.I'm kind of glad for this change, except it sounds like it a copied off the Eagle's playlist.I was hoping for a better replacement of The Point, but I guess this is the best they can muster up.

To the people who are being rude, cussing and calling names over Hot Hits being flipped:cry me a river, build a bridge and get over it.You aren't the only ones who lost a beloved radio station, and you won't be the last.

Maybe you need to learn lessons on how to give honest constructive criticism and feedback, instead of screaming and acting like a bunch immature, junior high kids.

  15. can't believe no more hot 95.7 it was the only station to play the newest music when it came out. now all we get is another station with the same old songs. bad move I hope they bring back a Station that play's new hit music.

    1. No music since 2000 has been "hit music". Today's "musicians" suck.

    2. Totally agree, now all we have is 104 but that isn't as good. I loved hot! Why do we need to hear more old songs? Move on people. Let's listen to today's music.

  16. Finally... a decent radio station in Houston. It has been a long time waiting.

  17. I like this station but what will happen to the new 95.7?

    ReplyDelete
  18. what happened to sara, ivan and lucio

  19. Is Sarah, Ivan & Lucio still the morning crew?

    ReplyDelete
  20. IDGAF really, except that I will miss Sarah Pepper and to a lesser extent, Ivan. She was the only reason I listened in the mornings. The show really wasn't the same since they got rid of PK last year, but I still tuned in cause of Sarah. Best wishes to her and whatever she may do next. All the love to her.

  21. Ok...here's my take. I haven't heard a song I don't like. But that will change when I've heard these same 600 songs over and over and over again. Then, CBS will try and update and fix it with some crappy tunes....then, they'll add spots to the Spot, and get greedy and play like 18 mins per hour, then add some no-brain jocks and jockettes that will think they're all that cuz they have a j o b, and try and do something that's above their pay grade, at which time CBS will then say "read the liners and shut up"! So now we'll have filler boring talk with boring music cuz they'll be afraid to play anything that doesn't 'test' well and we'll all go back to our usb drives, Pandora and Spotify for our tune-age. PS: Sarah, Ivan and Lucio were the problem. They couldn't keep up and re-invent. Nobody cared anymore about the losers at the courthouse...... old bit.

  22. The new station is at 91.7

    ReplyDelete
  23. I do not like the new format. I miss listening to Sarah and Ivan in the mornings on my way to work. Now the station sounds just like 99.1.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Sarah and ivan were entertaining and had hilarious stories! I want the hot 95.7 back on the radio. Ill follow them to another station. They were the only station to play NEW hit music. Now we're stuck in the past with the spot. It's so random,i loose interest and feel down, the hot 95.7 kept me alert and energized with hot pop music. Why couldn't the spot just start their own station instead of taking this unique station. Now i have nothing to listen to in early in the mornings, driving to school or to work. This sucks. Unoriginal and boring.
Sorry for being harsh but this change is ridiculous. Sarah pepper and Ivan actually cared about the community and gave back to the people of Texas. They heard our stories, laughed with us, gave money to the needy and concert tickets to callers. They were awesome!! Please change this. It's like another 99.1!!

  25. I loooooove the new station now. All the music from my Pandora now on radio! Great move. Loving THE SPOT!

  26. Thank God. One less morning show to deal with. Sick of hearing talk talk talk when all i want to hear is music. Good move. Tell your advertisers Working person who has money to spend here.

  27. Why do we even need a "morning show"? I've actually been arriving at work in a good mood after listening to all the great music on The Spot without some DJ flapping their gums.

    1. They are the reason this station was so bad. I was so happy when they fired that midday chick a few months ago, because she was horrible. You should speak proper English and speak well if you are in broadcasting. I guess they were going after a certain demo and they had no taste, so she and the others appealed to them

  28. So dissapointed 95.7 changed over. Hot show was great. Why does Houston need another boring music genre. I like the old stuff but it is not clicking with new music.
I hope Sara and Ivan get picked up somewhere in H-town
I hope the new station goes bankrupt

    ReplyDelete
  29. I need Sarah and Ivan. I need my stupid new and what you doing at the courthouse! Who told them to change the radio station 95.7. I am so that I can't listen to them my way to work! Bring them back please

    ReplyDelete
  30. They are so boring. I just turn off my radio in the morning.

    ReplyDelete
  31. I will not criticize the station, but why getting rid of shows that people like. Old music is good but the could've scheduled hours for it, the morning show was something good, you laugh with their stories and also you kind of get to know what was going on because sometimes they said some important news. Why having old music in the radio the whole if you can just play pandora or applemusic and have it all. In my opinion this change is not a very good move at cause in my case I rather listen a show than music while I go to work, because music I can play it at the gym, while cooking or even just chilling at the house. I just think it wasn't the best change.

    ReplyDelete
  32. So totally disappointed!!!! Hot 95.7 was the main station I listened to and now Sarah and Ivan are gone.....guess I will be playing music on my phone instead.

    ReplyDelete
  33. they did a good move ....... cuz now instead of hearing sarah pepper and ivan talking about stuff and me just sitting there now i can listen to good music and move and groove 24/7 personally i think 957 the spot is awesome !!!
