“The ratings landscape is changing in Houston,” said KPRC VP/General Manager, Jerry Martin “This is a great accomplishment for our entire news department, especially the morning team, and we’re closing the gap in a number of other news time periods so it’s getting very interesting. We want to thank our viewers for making us number one.”

“Our news is fresh, fast paced and energetic, which is what differentiates us and people are responding,” said Deborah Collura, KPRC’s Vice President and News Director. “It’s a more contemporary and entertaining newscast with the additions of Rachel McNeill and Ruben Galvan to our already strong team. We’ve put a lot of focus into creating a newscast that is a great use of our viewers’ time.”
