Local 2 is #1 For Mornings and Total Day in Key Demos
KPRC Local 2 is coming off an incredibly strong ratings period in the all important Nielsen November measurement period. The station experienced year-to-year growth in all newscasts, highlighted by wins at 5:30 and 6:00am.
In Adults 25-54, Monday-Friday 5:30am ratings, KPRC Local 2 took the top spot:

In Adults 25-54, Monday-Friday 6:00am ratings, KPRC was up 47% from last November to earn the win:

Local 2 News at 5:00pm is up 67% Year-to-Year
Local 2 News at 6:00pm is up 29% Year-to-Year
Local 2 News at 10:00pm is up 22% Year-to-Year (M-F)
The success goes beyond local news, as KPRC tied KHOU as the most watched station in A25-54 overall (Mon-Sun 5a-5a), despite Channel 11 having three Texans games:

Late Night with Jimmy Fallon is up 80% Year-to-Year
Saturday Night Live dominates its time period with a 2.6 rating
NBC primetime was #1 Mon-Sun
Sunday Night Football and The Voice are the top two primetime shows in November
All ratings are based on Nielsen Live + SD overnights for the measurement period of October 31st, 2013 through November 27th, 2013.
