KPRC AM 950 debuts
I've been blogging long enough to have seen KPRC-AM go from Talk Radio 950 to The 9-5-0 Radio Mojo.
Now it seems we are seeing another format change for the nearly 90-year-old station. Yes 9-0.
Word on the street is that there will be some kind of re-branding of the Radio Mojo theme.
What I can tell you for sure is that Northern Exposure actress Janine Turner will start doing the 5pm shift next Monday. This will be the debut of her new show, "The Janine Turner Radio Show - All American Common Sense," which will also air on SiriusXM 166 according to Turner's site. I imagine this means current 5pm show host Outlaw Dave moves back to a later hour.
Turner's site also offers us a glimpse of a possible new KPRC 950 AM logo too.
I asked Clear Channel Houston for more information, but have not heard back from a representative.
