  1. Mike, a comment regarding "Fox 26 anchor learns some TV sets have expiration dates" (http://carey2.blogspot.com/2010/12/you-can-just-buy-fancy-television-and.html) makes a good point.

    This is an analog-TV set. As you know, full-power TV stations went DTV on June 13, 2009. So "[t]here is nothing wrong with your television set. Do not attempt to adjust the picture. We are controlling transmission..."

    What the real story is that the reporter paid $200 for a CRT, when most could be readily had for at least $50 less. Ah, the Disney brand.
