  1. Even if 39 News has been "unable to compete" with other networks, I still watch 39 News for the on-air talent and just that I'm most fond of their brand of news. I do like watching 39 News for what it provides. I do still watch Channel 13 for news a lot and hardly ever watch CBS except for sports. It's still a terrible shame this NewsFix deal is still going to pull through. It will be different having an anchorless newscast, but as I like to say, "different doesn't always mean better." Even in my own blog, I noted that taking away this sort of human element just establishes a total disconnect between news and news watchers.

I'll give this NewsFix thing credit that it's something different. But in the long-term, there's not enough teeth for this thing to last. A low-rated station with human talent is better than a low-rated station with faceless talent.
