Houston pizza lauded by Rachel Ray

Houston's Russo's New York Coal-Fired Pizzeria is ranked one of the best pizzas in the United States in the March issue of "Every Day with Rachel Ray" magazine.

I just ate at the Midtown location last week. Looks like I'm actually in the know for once...or just lucky.

  1. I've found Russo's to be hit-and-miss, with the last trip so bad that I gave up on the place.

Grimaldi's (Sugar Land) and Napoli (in Tanglewilde), on the other hand, have served up consistently good thin pizzas. And I used to like Frank's downtown quite a bit when we lived closer in.
